伯爵紅茶

I usually take my Earl Grey with a splash of milk, and this one holds up without turning bitter or soapy the way cheaper blends do. The bergamot is bold but not perfumey, which is exactly what I want in the morning.

The citrus notes hit right away but fade into a smooth, malty base that doesn't turn bitter even after it cools. I've already gone through half the tin in a week, which says more than any tasting note could.

The bergamot is properly balanced here—not a whisper, not a shout—and the black tea base actually holds its own instead of hiding behind the citrus. It's the first Earl Grey I've finished a tin of without getting bored halfway through.
